French TV channel France 2 is to release their flagship film about French novelist and diplomat Romain Gary on Monday 12th February.
The film entitled 'L'Enchanteur' (The Storyteller) also stars Miranda Raison in a French-speaking role, playing actress Jean Seberg who was married to Gary in the 1960s.
The film looks at the later years of Gary's life when he re-invented himself under the pseudonym Émile Ajar, leading him to great literary success, with very few people knowing who Émile Ajar really was. Jean, and their son Diego, were two of the few people who knew his secret.
The film is directed by Philippe Lefebvre.
