Prequel to the much loved Inspector Morse TV series, Endeavour follows a young Morse at the beginning of his career with Oxford City C.I.D in the 1960s. The show is broadcast on ITV and ran for 9 series. Stars Shaun Evans as Endeavour Morse. Killian Coyle and James Northcote have both appeared in the show as George Sellars and Johnny Broom respectively. In the ninth and final series in 2023, Imogen Daines played Oxford Concert Orchestra violinist Mabs Portman.
