One to watch Darci Shaw is a young actress from Liverpool who burst onto screens in 2019 starring as a  young Judy Garland in the award-winning film ‘Judy’, alongside Renée Zellweger, in a performance described as "truly stellar" (Rolling Stone).

In 2024 she stars as Cilla Black in the 1960s-set Amazon Prime biographical film ‘Midas Man’, which tells the story of the legendary music manager Brian Epstein, famous for managing The Beatles, Cilla Black and Gerry and the Pacemakers.  Emily Watson and Eddie Marsan also star.

In 2025 she will star as Alice Diamond in new Disney+ Victorian boxing drama series ‘A Thousand Blows’, alongside Stephen Graham. as well as the highly anticipated BBC One crime drama series 'This City is Ours' in which she plays Melissa Phelan alongside Sean Bean and Hannah Onslow. 

In 2021 she began starring as Jessie in ‘The Irregulars’, a Netflix paranormal show based on the world of Sherlock Holmes.  In the same year she starred as Dot Cliff, the sister to Phoebe Dynevor’s character, the renowned British ceramic artist Clarice Cliff, in ‘The Colour Room’, a Sky Original film, set in the Midlands potteries in the 1920s, which also starred Matthew Goode and David Morrissey. 

In 2019 she played Holly Meredith in the first series of Morecambe-based ITV crime drama The Bay, alongside Morven Christie. 

Other credits include the BBC Wales short film 'Bitter Sky' and Brassic (Sky). 

Originally from Liverpool, Darci has a native Liverpool accent. She is confident in Neutral English, RP, American and other British Northern accents, particularly Manchester.
